Hi everyone!!

I am looking to shoot some really gothic, alternative, grunge and emo vibe portraits for my portfolio on a TFP basis. This is to support developing my brand closer to where I want to be as a photographer and to meet likeminded models, and also to get better at directing models and collaborating.

Please have a read of the following to see if you'd like to collaborate. You can find more of my images on Instagram @rebeccahphotographer and I will likely be doing a name rebrand in the not too distant future to something that better reflects my purpose as a photographer. More images will be added to PP in the coming weeks.

  • I want to focus on aesthetic and fashion: really cool makeup, tattoos, outfits, whatever you want to show off.

  • I'm happy to shoot outdoors wherever you want (within reason) or simply do photo walks around Birmingham and Digbeth or the surrounding areas and see where the vibe takes us.

  • Studio shoots can be arranged, and I'm happy to pay the studio fee for a 2hr session

  • Everyone deserves to be paid for their skills and time, however due to being on a really, really tight budget I will struggle to pay model fees right now. If you're living further out and want to work together I can consider paying travel fees depending on the amount.

  • I'd love to shoot for Gothic brands in the future so we can focus on jewellery and clothing brands and tag them in the social images, so you'll get the exposure too.

  • I will try to be as flexible as possible with the times and dates, but I have a young child so sometimes I'm restricted. However, Tuesday mornings are great for me and I can try to do evenings over Summer

  • Even if you're only going to be passing through Birmingham or the Black Country and want to quickly collaborate we definitely chat about this too, I'm only a 30 minute train ride out of snow hill/moor st

  • You would need to do your own makeup/styling 

If you're a stylist or makeup artist:

  • I'd be really happy to support you with images, especially studio beauty shots

  • I have loads of creative shoots in mind for the future

Here are a few outdoor ideas I'd like to shoot, but I'm open to most things:

  • Photowalk in Digbeth

  • Evening/night shoot in Birmingham to find cool neons (and maybe use some LEDs)

  • Jewellery Quarter

  • Sunflower shoot in Beckett's Farm (from August onwards)

  • Top of Selfridges/Grand Central car park

  • Canals

  • Brindley Place

  • Moor Street Station

  • Great Western Arcade

  • Colmore Row

  • Happy to do parks as well as urban areas

For full transparency these are my terms for the free shoots:

  • All finished images will be sent either via email, WeTransfer or Drop Box

  • I'm happy for you to use them on your social media and website

  • Full credit should always be given to all creatives involved

  • Images should not be entered in competitions or to publications without prior agreement

  • Please do not edit the images in any way without speaking to me first

I'll only be doing free shoots for this year with a view to go Pro in 2026, so if you'd like to build connections with me and have a free shoot I'd love to meet you. I love this scene and alt guys and girls are awesome.
